Troop 228 Scout Hut

Thanks to Flowery Branch Masonic Lodge 212, and literally hundreds of other contributors and volunteers, a Scout Hut has been built adjacent to the Masonic Lodge. This facility is promised to give the Boy Scouts of Flowery Branch a permanent home for many years to come.

At the Groundbreaking ceremony held in February 2008, the hut was dedicated as the John E. Runyon Memorial Scout Hut, after one of our troop's founding adult leaders. Upon completion of the hut in July 2010, a Cornerstone Ceremony was conducted by the Flowery Branch Masonic Lodge.

Please understand that pictures cannot show all the work necessary for the Electrical, Heat and Air, Plumbing, Insulation, Drywall, Paint, Permits and Approvals, etc.

Please come by and see the hut for your self.
